新华社圣保罗5月5日电（记者宫若涵）巴西中央银行5日宣布上调基准利率75个基点，从2.75%升至3.5%。
分析人士表示，此次加息为预料之中。巴西央行早在今年3月就已释放加息信号，近几周重申有意于5月加息。
巴西央行在一份声明中表示，食品及工业制成品价格上涨导致加息，随着新冠疫苗接种逐步普及，今年巴西经济有望复苏。
分析人士预计，巴西央行未来数月还将加息，基准利率在今年年底和明年年底将分别达到5.5%和6.25%。
今年3月巴西央行将基准利率从2%上调至2.75%，为自2015年7月以来首次加息。巴西国家货币委员会设定2021年通胀率管理目标中值为3.75%，允许上下浮动1.5个百分点。
